After the Balloon Fiesta, we went down to Austin to visit some family. This time of year has the best weather in Texas, so it was a bit chilly but really nice. It was a good break from traveling every week to spend almost two months here.

It's getting close to Christmas time and Halloween, so everyone's decorations are going up. We stayed at a resort style RV campground and an afternoon of trick-or-treaters was expected.

We also spent some time checking out Austin. Texas is our home state now, but we might decide to move here for real after RV life.

The other reason for coming to Austin is that we have friends here who can care for the animals while we fly to Myrtle Beach for my grandfather's funeral.
